Based on Jack London’s legendary adventure, THE CALL OF THE WILD is a cinematic experience of a lifetime. Twentieth Century Studios vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Canadian Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team-- and later its leader--Buck has embarked on an extraordinary coming-of-age journey that will lead him to ultimately discover his true place in the world and become his own master.

Employing visual effects and animation technology to bring the animals in the film to life, THE CALL OF THE WILD is a hybrid of live action and animated filmmaking. Harrison Ford, one of the screen’s all-time most popular and acclaimed leading men, heads a cast that includes Omar Sy (The Intouchables), Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey), Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy), Bradley Whitford (Get Out), Cara Gee (“The Expanse”), Michael Horse (“Twin Peaks”), Jean Louisa Kelly (“Yes, Dear”), Colin Woodell (“The Purge”), Adam Fergus (“Supernatural”) and Abraham Benrubi (“The Finest Hours”). Chris Sanders (How to Train Your Dragon) directs from a screenplay by Michael Green (Murder on the Orient Express). Produced by Erwin Stoff, p.g.a. (Unbroken) and James Mangold, p.g.a. (Ford v Ferrari) with Diana Pokorny (Downsizing), Ryan Stafford (War for the Planet of the Apes) and Michael Green serving as executive producers.
